An interesting project titled Wildflowering L.A. began during October, 2014 and was conceived by Shamim Momin of LAND and carried out by Fritz Haeg. I had been working with flowers at that time and it was serendipitous that our projects coincided and that Fritz would be growing the types of flowers I needed within the local community. I exhibited selected works in the bathroom stall at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
